How To Enable Auto-Wrap

This is a step by step guide on how to enable Auto-Wrap

Updated over a week ago

The Auto Wrap automation keeps your streams running by automatically wrapping the underlying token at a set frequency. With Auto Wrap enabled you'll be free to open and close streams at will for a set token, Auto Wrap will always take into account your current total outgoing flow and wrap enough tokens to ensure your streams keep running indefinitely.

In its default settings Auto Wrap ensures that you have at least one week worth of streaming at any time, wrapping an amount equal to one week worth of streaming anytime your balance falls below the threshold.

Step 1

Connect your wallet to the Superfluid Dashboard and select "More" from the left menu.

Step 2

Select "Auto-Wrap".

Step 3

Select "Add Token".

Step 4

Choose which token you'd like to enable Auto Wrap for, and which network to enable it on.

Step 5

Click "Enable Auto-Wrap" and sign the transaction requested by your wallet.

Step 6

Click "Approve OP Allowance" and sign the transaction requested by your wallet. Auto Wrap requests an unlimited allowance by default to ensure the ability to wrap tokens indefinitely and keep your streams running.

⚠️ If you aren't happy with providing an unlimited allowance you can edit it manually on your wallet interface, however you'll need to remember to update it later or the Auto Wrap automation will fail when the allowance is reached.

Step 7

Auto Wrap is now enabled for the selected token, on the selected network. Your Dashboard should look like the screenshot below

All good, your Auto Wrap is now enabled for the selected token on the selected network. Every time your balance will be lower than 1 week worth of outgoing streaming flow Auto Wrap will automatically wrap enough tokens to cover 2 weeks of streaming.
